What your character card costs every turn
Paste each field of your card below. The counter estimates its permanent tokens — the ones charged on every single message — and shows how much of each platform's context window is left for the actual conversation. It checks your card against the two published length ceilings, and everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Counts are estimates, typically within about 10% of a real tokenizer on English prose. Exchange counts assume roughly 120 tokens per exchange, both sides together. Candy AI, CrushOn, Character.AI, Replika, and Nomi run memory server-side and publish no window size, so they are not listed.
Why permanent fields matter more than temporary ones, and how to trim a card that runs over, is in the token-ceiling section of how to write a character card that doesn't fall apart. For which fields belong in the card in the first place, and how each platform maps them, see the character card templates for every platform.
